Home Shield Perimeter Pest Control

It includes an outdoor preventative service to keep pests at bay around your home and protective measures that create a powerful barrier up to 5 feet around your foundation. We also provide thorough treatment to handle spider webs, wasp nests, and dauber nests on the first story, enhancing your outdoor living space. Additionally, our strategic application treats around entry points, such as windows and doors, extending up to 3 feet from the base of your structure. Please note that our services do not cover rodents, and while we protect against many pests, we do not offer defense against insect-borne diseases or structural damage caused by termites and carpenter ants. Mosquito Shield
Our mosquito control service targets adult mosquitoes, specifically the biting varieties that inhabit your landscape. The service is guaranteed and is applied monthly throughout the mosquito season to ensure ongoing protection. Treatment is effective in key areas such as bed areas, ornamental plants, mulched regions, and unmowed turf. We use a Backpack Mister that can treat plant materials up to 10 feet high, though it is not applied to flowering plants when bees are present or to edible plants. Enjoy a mosquito-free outdoor space with our targeted treatment.
Outdoor Pest Barrier
Our Outdoor Pest Barrier service targets common nuisance pests, such as chiggers, fleas, ticks, earwigs, and spiders, with guaranteed effectiveness. However, it does not control fire ants or protect against insect-borne diseases or structural damage caused by termites and carpenter ants. Treatments are applied monthly throughout the nuisance pest season to ensure ongoing protection. The service targets key areas such as bed areas and ornamentals up to 2 feet, turf 3-5 feet out from beds, and 3-5 feet around decks, patios, and other social gathering areas. Please note that this treatment is not intended for complete turf coverage. Both liquid and granular applications are used: liquid is recommended for mulch beds or areas with few plants, while granular is preferred for beds with denser plant coverage.

Hydroseeding
Hydroseeding is the fastest, easiest, and most cost-effective way to seed your lawn, costing up to 70% less than sod. Just a few days after application, you'll see your lawn beginning to germinate. This method avoids the labor-intensive and messy process of laying sod, and the hydro-mulch won't stain sidewalks, driveways, or homes.
Hydroseeding offers several advantages over traditional seeding: seeds germinate faster, a higher percentage take root, and it drastically reduces soil erosion. This environmentally friendly process uses a mixture of fiber-mulch, seed, lime, fertilizer, and water, allowing for application in challenging areas like slopes and narrow strips.
**Erosion Control**
Erosion often results from water runoff and can destabilize the ground, especially on slopes. Hydroseeding is an effective method for erosion control, promoting deep root growth to stabilize the soil. Signs of erosion include water pooling or creating channels, which should be addressed promptly.

Water twice daily in cooler weather and three to four times daily in hot weather for about 15 minutes. Wait until the day after seeding to begin watering, and try to keep the surface moist without disturbing the mulch.
